Leadership Coaching

When asked how I lead, my response usually centres around leadership coaching. I have coached Governors, Principals/Headteachers and senior leaders of all types in a most diverse range of circumstances.

I firmly believe that the quickest and most sustainable route towards school success is to grow leadership capacity. I identify talent and coach and support their development in skills, knowledge, culture and ethos. If required, I work with Governance to re-structure leadership for sustainable development to enable the school to surge forwards with able teams of leaders deployed to best effect.

Due to the breadth and depth of my experience, I am told that I am usually able to give sound advice and support to Headteachers, often with a different perspective about whatever the current issue or crisis may be.

I am available now to support schools through leadership coaching. This may be coaching, advice or a sounding board for the Headteacher, or working alongside the Headteacher to coach and develop leadership in their schools.
